I don't pretend to be a wine connoisseur, but I know what I like and don't like. We open a bottle of something most nights to enjoy with our evening meal. We very rarely have anything else but Australian wine in the house, and why not, Australia has some wonderful wine regions that we think are comparable to anywhere in the world. But just recently we have tried a wine from Spain and must say we were pleasantly surprised.Tonight's feature wine is not only well priced ($9.00 per bottle at Dan Murphy's Wine Grocer) but delicious, smooth and easy to drink. Borsao - Seleccion 2011 is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Tempranillo and even though it is a red it went very well with this evening's asian style roast chicken.
We have mostly Australian wine in the house too. And we like to have a bottle of wine with dinner too. It's such a great way to end the day. If you can buy a great bottle for under $10 you're onto a good thing xx
